Her course of study of the human psychology, behavior and responses is rooted in her strong passion to help humanity discover their true potential through the understanding of their individual uniqueness and untapped potentials. She is a wife and a mother of three boys; whom she finds as the fuel for her accomplishments. At 36, she is humbled to find herself being a ‘student’ of life, as she continues learning each day from her extensive work and interaction with people. A Registered and Licensed Counsellor with Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia and Member of Association of Psychological and Educational Counselors of Asia Pacific (APECA), Sangeeta served a number of years counselling the youth, families, individuals and working adults. She regularly conducts workshops, seminars and works jointly with many organisations and corporations to offer programmes that promote self-esteem and gratitude. She also trains in the area of effective communications, sales and grooming. She founded her own company MOF-licensed company, Emerging Journey Asia (EJA) Sdn Bhd, in 2012 through which she shares her work and research. She stumbled upon a highly-competent psychometric tool that taps into and unlocks human potential. She decided to venture and apply it as her personal tool in her work. She holds the sole Malaysian franchisee status of this tool and is the CEO of Emergenetics International Malaysia, a Fortune 500 status company which featured Sangeeta in their June 2012 newsletter in recognition of her being the first to use their profiling system for the deaf in Asia Pacific and for her excellence in quality. Sangeeta helps others groom themselves as counsellors and trainers as a Certified Train-the-Trainer (TTT) with the Human Resources and Development Fund (HRDF). She also shares her research and findings with experts; in 2010, she worked closely as Research Assistant with UNESCO and presented her paper on ‘The Importance of Parental Role and Teachers by Students into Malaysian Schools’ at the 18th APECA Biennal Conference Malaysia and in November 2012, she was invited to speak on ‘Recovery & Collection Solutions’ at the Evolution Mind Power Conference in Kuala Lumpur to a line-up of heads of departments of leading Malaysian commercial banks and corporate bodies such as Petron, Petronas and MARA. She is also a Life Member of MyLead Organisation, an NGO, where she speaks at its Tea Talk sessions. In addition to this, to further enhance her work, she has undertaken the study of Art Therapy and is also a Reiki Practitioner. Her spare time is spent engaging in community service projects. She served as an Interpreter for YMCA’s International Deaf Day. Through EJA Sdn Bhd, she conducts regular workshop for the deaf with the DeafMoolah organisation. She also served in the ‘Program Ibu Penyayang’ at her son’s school to support children with learning difficulties. Her company, EJA, recently started ‘EJA Athena’s Club’ – an exclusive club for women which serves as a growth networking support system and personal development platform. Sangeeta’s pleasant, friendly and caring personality is her natural asset. She instantly makes people feel comfortable and welcomed around her with her non-judgmental and non-stereotyping outlook. She continues to research, study and expose herself to new frontiers each day to better equip herself to help others, with a very soft spot for children and the hearing-disabled community.
